Welcome to Cassie's Custom Cakes

Thank you for logging onto my website! My name is Cassie Hunt. I started Cassie's Custom Cakes on February 13, 1996 with the help of my wonderful family.

When I opened my bakery in 1996 I was the only independent bakery in North San Luis Obispo County. I first opened in the Glen Oaks Plaza. This shop was so small (600 sqft) that if there were 2 customers up front it was crowded. After 11 years we moved the bakery a little bit north to the Plaza De Pueblo. This location was a little bit bigger which allowed me to have seating for 8 inside and 4 more outside. This is when I added the 'Cafe'. I was in that location for 5 years. Next we moved into The Carlton Hotel where I managed the bakery for a year and a half. The newest home of Cassie's Custom Cakes is in my home in Atascadero. I no longer have a store front but I am still making wonderful cakes, cupcakes and cookies. I am operating with a Cottage A permit through the Health Department.
